41st plenary of British Irish Parliamentary Assembly to meet in Isle of Man

The 41st Plenary of the British-Irish Parliamentary Assembly* will take place from Monday 22nd - Tuesday 23rd November, at the Villa Marina, Douglas, Isle of Man.

This is the first occasion that the Assembly will meet in the Isle of Man, and the plenary will be formally addressed by the Chief Minister, Mr Tony Brown, on Monday morning.

The plenary will debate the Saville Report on Bloody Sunday that was published in June and will also be addressed by the new Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Owen Patterson MP.

There will also be a discussion on how investment in and support for tourism can contribute to economic recovery in Britain and Ireland.
