European Affairs
Committee B considers matters arising from Britain and Ireland's common membership of the European Union. Committee B regularly interacts with the various institutions of the EU. Among the important issues it has considered are:
- The Common Agricultural Policy
- Transport links between Britain and Ireland
- Cross-border trade within the EU
- European funding to socially deprived areas
