European Affairs

Committee B considers matters arising from Britain and Ireland's common membership of the European Union. Committee B regularly interacts with the various institutions of the EU. Among the important issues it has considered are:

• The Common Agricultural Policy
• Transport links between Britain and Ireland
• Cross-border trade within the EU
• European funding to socially deprived areas
